A southern storm named Pax is moving through the south now bring ICE to Texas, LA, MS, AL, GA, SC, NC, and VA. The storm will arrive during the day Wednesday for southern Virginia including Danville and Roanoke. Winter Storm Warnings are wide-spread in Virginia. 8-12" of snow expected for the higher elevations of Virginia including Roanoke, Leesburg, Charlottesville, Manassas, Haymarket, Luray, Fairfax, and Danville. 5-8" of snow expected west and east of the greater amounts including D.C., Winchester, Richmond, Fredericksburg. The east is still uncertain as warm air from the coast may move in and mix in with sleet or rain. Ice concern for the Richmond area Wednesday-Thursday. This storm could be the biggest storm in 4 years.
